How to Read the Lucerne Grand Balance Unit Chart

Unit numbers. Every unit number takes the form #level-stack. In #12-17, the 12 is the storey and the 17 is the stack, so it is the home on the 12th storey of stack 17. Stacks are numbered 01 to 36 straight across the development rather than restarting in each block, so a stack number identifies a block on its own.

Which stacks sit in which block. Block 30 holds stacks 01 to 07, Block 32 holds stacks 08 to 15, Block 34 holds stacks 16 to 23, Block 36 holds stacks 24 to 30, and Block 38 holds stacks 31 to 36. Every block rises 17 storeys.

Where the homes start. Level 1 carries Lucerne Galleria and the arrival areas and holds no homes at all, so the chart has no Level 1 row and every column begins at Level 2. Homes run from Level 2 to Level 17. Every Level 2 home carries private enclosed space and is drawn as its own plan.

The gaps that are not printing faults. Four columns do not begin where their neighbours do. Stacks 09, 10, 11 and 20 have no Level 2 home, so those four columns start at Level 3 and the space beneath them is absence rather than whitespace. Stack 32 starts higher again, at Level 4, so it sits two levels above the columns either side of it. Stack 02 is the one column holding two layouts: DP2a occupies Levels 2 and 3 and DP2 runs from Level 4 upward, so the type label changes partway up a single column. Every stack runs to Level 17, so no column stops short at the top.

Where to look next. The floor plan layouts set out every unit type with its plan, and the Buyer’s Guide carries the orientation of all 36 stacks.
